This certification validates that the technical professional is able to implement a data center infrastructure incorporating the latest HP BladeSystem and third party products and technologies. The [2009] version of this certification includes the latest generation of HP technologies, including the Insight Control software suite, HP Virtual Connect Flex-10, solid state drives, and the ultimate in power management.
HP partner, employee or customer technical integration professionals who design, implement or support high level solutions based on the HP BladeSystem platform.
The candidate for this certification must already possess 2 prerequisite certifications and must successfully complete 1 core requirement exam and 1 elective exam.
Prerequisite 1:
Either of the following prerequisites is required:
AIS – HP BladeSystem [2009] -or-
AIS – HP BladeSystem [2007]

Prerequisite 2:
Choose any 1 of the following operating system prerequisites
CSA – HP OpenVMS v8 -or-
CSE – Specialty in High Availability HP-UX 11i v3 -or-

CSE – Specialty in Virtualization HP-UX 11i v3 -or-
Any 1 of various third party operating system options. The acceptable options include:
o MCITP, Server Administrator
o MCITP, Enterprise Administrator
o MCITP, Enterprise Messaging Administrator
o MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration
o MCTS: Windows Server Network Infrastructure Configuration
o MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Application Infrastructure Configuration
o MCSE on Windows Server 2003
o Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Open Enterprise Server
o Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), Open Enterprise Server
o Novell Certified Linux Engineer (CLE)
o Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
o Linux Certified Engineer Level 2 (SAIR LCE)
o Linux Professional Institute Certification Level 2 (LPIC-2)
